The short version: we run a read-only plant reference site. We do not ask for accounts, we do not sell data, and our analytics do not identify individual visitors. The long version is below.

Information We Collect #

Money-Tree Guide does not require accounts and does not collect names, email addresses, or other personal identifiers through the site itself. Like virtually every website, our hosting infrastructure automatically records basic server logs — such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and the timestamp of each request — for security, diagnostics, and load balancing. These logs are retained briefly and are never used to build profiles of individual visitors.

Cookies and Analytics #

We use cookieless, privacy-respecting analytics (Matomo) to understand which articles are useful to readers. This gives us aggregate page views and approximate geographic regions without identifying individual visitors. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or cross-site behavioral tracking.

Third-Party Services #

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts. Google may process technical information (such as your IP address) according to its own privacy policy when you download those fonts. We do not control that service and encourage you to review Google’s policy if you have concerns.

Your Choices #
